LEAP Pre-K FAQ's


What is Georgia's Pre-K Program?

  • Georgia's Pre-K Program is a state lottery funded educational program for al age eligible four year old children in Georgia. The purpose of the program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years.


Where is the LEAP Georgia Pre-K Program held?

  • LEAP Pre-K will be held at our LEAP facility located at 110 Waterford Court in Rincon, GA

What are the dates and times of the LEAP Georgia Pre-K Program?
  • The Pre-K Program operates on the regular school system calendar.
  • The Georgia Pre-K Program operates from 8:00am - 2:30pm.
  • LEAP Youth Development Program offers afterschool options for care until 6:00pm at normal afterschool tuition rates.

What does my child need to bring everyday?

  • Bookbag (supply list will be provided closer to time for school to start)
  • Refillable Water Bottle that has a secure lid, NO straws
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Snack are not currently provided so students will need to bring lunchbox, afternoon snack
  • Change of clothes

What health precautions is LEAP taking to ensure my child is safe?

  • Your child's health and safety is always a priority for us. LEAP will sanitize all materials and areas used by students in the facility regularly throughout the day.
  • We also practice frequent handwashing.


How do I register for the LEAP Georgia Pre-K Program?

  • You can register by clicking the red registration button above, complete the google form, and submit your request!
  • Once it has been approved you will receive an email to create your Kangarootime account.


What is Kangarootime?

  • Kangarootime is our childcare management system.  See daily posts and updates, message us with any questions, receive a push notification when your child is checked-in, request check-out, and pay your weekly tuition all right from your phone! You will need to download the KT Connect App on your phone.


What is the dress code?

  • Students will be active throughout the day.  We encourage them to wear comfortable clothes.
  • Students are required to wear tennis shoes or shoes with a back strap for their safety.
  • No Flip Flops are allowed!


Are electronic devices allowed? 

  • Electronic devices are not allowed at LEAP.
  • LEAP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Does my child have to be potty trained to attend?
  • Yes, your child needs to be potty trained. No exceptions are allowed.
